Sadsbury Township Parks and Recreation Home Events Features Township Community Day I am sure you have seen the signs displayed around the township. Our 2018 Community Day is fast approaching! We are still seeking sponsors, vendors, and volunteers to help make it the best day we can for our residents. If you think you can help, visit our Community Day page for more information. The deadline for sponsors to be recognized on our sponsor banner has passed, but businesses or organizations can still be featured on our Community Day web page . Urgent help needed! The Parks and Recreation Committee is looking for new members. It meets on the fourth Monday of the month to advise the township supervisors on how best to operate and expand the park and walking trail facilities, and organizes activities to improve the well-being and community spirit of the township’s residents. If this is something that interests you, please contact the township or email the committee directly. This includes researching, developing and implementing programs for recreation, fitness, leisure and community activities suitable for all residents. It also includes protecting and preserving open spaces and natural resources. The centerpiece of Sadsbury Township’s parks and recreation facilities is Bert Reel Park . It features a baseball field, a walking trail, a basketball court, a playground, a snack shack and a large pavilion.
